" A delightful period attached cottage which has maintained a great deal of the original charm and character,with an abundance of exposed brickwork, oak joinery to the internal walls and ceilings,maintaining good head heights. The original cottage is bargate stone with decorative ironstone galeting, and the later additions are tile hung. The windows have been replaced with double glazing and there is gas central heating. The main sitting room has a brick fireplace with log burner, and the kitchen is open plan with the dining room which has double doors opening to the garden. Travertine flooring has under floor heating and the extensive cream units with wooden work tops provide an ideal settling. There is a good sized utility room and a cloakroom downstairs. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs and from bed 4 is a staircase to a very useful loft room.

Situation
Occupying a convenient location within Hurtmore, which is a favoured area of Godalming, with its 18 hole golf course, and The Squirrel Inn, being within easy reach of several highly regarded schools, including Charterhouse (together with its Queens Sports Centre and gym), Prior‘s Field, Aldro at Shackleford,whilst Godalming Sixth Form College is within 2.5 miles. Very well placed for those commuting with access onto the A3, with mainline stations being found in Godalming and Farncombe (Waterloo from 44 minutes). Godalming is about 2 miles away with Waitrose and Sainsbury‘s supermarkets, whilst the historic semi-pedestrian High Street has a wide range of interesting shops, restaurants and cafes. A number of footpaths and bridleways are also readily available, ideal for walking and cycling.

the house is approached by a driveway and 5 bar gate, with a large gravel drive providing parking for many cars. There is a large detached barn with a room above and addition storage behind which could be adapted to create an annexe. There is a large area of lawn enclosed within mature beech hedgerows, laurel and mature trees. In all the garden extends to 1.12 acres and adjoins Hurtmore golf course. "
