" A classic Victorian home, with handsome elevations and well proportioned rooms. With its picket fence and convenient location just 10 miles from Guildford, this could well be your new house in the country.

DETAILS Oak View is a handsome Victorian house with many character features including sash windows, high ceilings and decorative fire places. The property has been extended and offers further potential to extend into the roof (subject to the necessary consents). It is located at the Alfold Crossways, which is 10 miles to the south of Guildford and 3 miles to the west of Cranleigh.

The front door opens into a central entrance hall, with stairs leading to the first floor and doors opening either side to the two reception rooms with high ceilings, cornicing and other period features. The sitting room has a large bay window, a built-in corner cabinet and cupboards to either side of a central feature fireplace. The family room runs from front to back, with a double aspect, a bay window to the front and patio doors to the rear. It also has a large open hearth with a wood burning stove and an oak mantle. At one end there is room for a table and chairs and a door leading to the adjoining kitchen. The kitchen has a tiled floor, a range of light oak units and a range cooker with 5 burners and a double oven. Off the kitchen is a rear lobby and utility room with a tiled floor, fitted cupboards, a counter top and space and plumbing for washing machine and dryer. The rear lobby leads to a study/bedroom 4, which is served by a downstairs shower room, with corner shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail.

Upstairs, the master bedroom is a lovely room with a double aspect, a central feature fireplace, a built in cupboard and a range of fitted wardrobes. There is an en-suite shower room with a glazed shower cubicle, WC, pedestal basin and a wood laminate floor. Bedroom two is a good sized double room and also benefits from a feature fireplace. Bedroom three is a single room and overlooks the rear garden. The bathroom also has character, with a dormer window and a couple of steps down to a jacuzzi bath at one end, a built in vanity unit with inset basin and a WC. "
