" Originally built in the 1920's, this handsome family house has been extended and comprehensively refurbished, over the last year. It now presents like a new house, with just about every aspect of the property having been updated. The flow of the accommodation and the sizes of the rooms are just what you would hope for and the fittings and finishes are a stylish combination of character and contemporary styles. The living space certainly doesn't fail to deliver and neither does the garden; which is approx. 100' long and enjoys a south-westerly aspect.

The front door opens into a large hallway, with a porthole window, stairs leading to the first floor and a very useful study area. An oak floor runs throughout the ground floor and all the internal doors are also finished in oak. A central lobby houses the cloakroom, an understairs cupboard, a coats cupboard and the utility room. There is also a side door leading to a useful boot room. The large, well proportioned sitting room and the stylish kitchen/breakfast room are situated to the rear of the property, with an adjoining door and views out over the garden. The sitting room has a large central fireplace, with a log burner, a brick hearth and an oak mantle. A large sliding door leads to the patio and a picture window brings in light from the side aspect. The kitchen is fitted with a comprehensive range of modern, stylish fitted units; incorporating granite worktops, a full height built-in fridge and freezer, a dishwasher and a Rangemaster cooker, stainless steel splashback and extractor hood. It also benefits from a double aspect, whilst the breakfast area has a vaulted ceiling, with a Velux window and double doors leading to the garden. Adjacent to the kitchen and overlooking the front of the property, is a family room, which is an ideal snug/playroom/tv room.

Upstairs, there is a spacious central landing which leads to four double bedrooms and a family bathroom. It has two large linen cupboards and a loft hatch. The master bedroom is over the sitting room and enjoys similar proportions, with a large picture window looking out over the garden. The ensuite is fully tiled and stylishly finished; with a modern, white suite of basin, vanity unit, toilet, chrome heated towel rail and a glazed shower cubicle. Bedroom two also overlooks the rear garden, whilst bedrooms three and four enjoy an easterly aspect, overlooking the front garden and countryside beyond. The family bathroom is also very beautifully finished; with a tiled floor and walls, a chrome heated towel rail and a modern white suite of basin, toilet and bath with a shower and glazed screen over it.
