" This delightful maisonette is one of the best we have seen. The owners have done a great job in updating and presenting the property to a high standard both inside and out. Immediately upon arriving outside, you appreciate the private brick paviour parking for two cars with a well maintained gravel and flagstone path to the entrance porch. The hall has a stylish natural stone tiled floor with gently rising staircase to the first floor. With neutral decoration throughout, the immediate impression is of brightness and space enhanced by the recently installed double glazed windows allowing the light to flood in. The L-shaped living room enjoys views to the front and rear with easy to maintain oak-effect flooring throughout and a tiled fireplace flanked by useful display shelves. The dining area leads through to a quality oak-fronted kitchen complemented by marble-effect work surfaces with various built-in appliances including dishwasher and attractive stainless steel oven and hob. Both double bedrooms benefit from fitted wardrobes and a third room, currently used as a study, is ideal for anyone wanting a private area to work from. The owners have continued their improvements outside as the back garden has been landscaped for easy maintenance with patio areas accessed by gravel paths which snake between brick-enclosed borders - ideal for sun-loving plants and shrubs - and, being completely enclosed by panel fencing, creates a secure and private environment.

What the Owner says:

As soon as we walked in, we knew it ticked all our boxes - spacious, with scope to improve and, being so close to the village shops, was so convenient. We have really enjoyed creating the home we had always wanted and the westerly backing garden, great to spend a summer's evening in after work, was a real bonus. It's really secluded and, in the summer, is a perfect sun trap which we have specifically designed for minimum maintenance.
