" A charming 5 bedroom family home sitting in a plot approaching 1 acre with superb open views to the front.

DETAILS This 1930s character family home is presented in excellent decorative order throughout and will give the next owner adaptable accommodation, in this tucked away position with lovely views to the front and farm land to the rear. The stunning vaulted drawing room, with wood flooring, has a wood burning stove on a stone hearth and from here stairs lead to the dining room with its cast iron fireplace (currently not working) and wood flooring. From here the door leads through to the kitchen/breakfast area which is a large, bright area with plenty of room for a table and chairs and has a working fireplace. The fully integrated kitchen with wood worktops has fitted electric oven and hob with extractor, fridge and dishwasher and plenty of eye level units for storage. There is an excellent double aspect family room with wooden flooring, lime stone fireplace and hearth and feature double glazed bay window overlooking the side garden. A hallway leads to the two downstairs double bedrooms; the rear bedroom with double doors onto the garden having an en suite bathroom whilst the other bedroom is serviced by the partly tiled bathroom with shower over and heated towel rail. The turning staircase leads to three further double bedrooms upstairs, all having double glazed windows and with either views to the front or rear. OUTSIDE

The gardens are a lovely feature of the house and the front is a large flat lawned area enclosed by hedging and post-and-rail fence. The long gravel driveway leads to a parking area for a number of cars and a barn style car port. The rear gardens have been beautifully landscaped with lawned area interspersed with gravel paths and neat borders with low level shrubs and a central water feature. There is a heated swimming pool which is surrounded by a large decked area. Beyond the post-and-rail fence is a 'barked' area with timber stable and summer house which has power and light and a wood burning stove. From here a gate leads to the field beyond with wonderful walks to the hills. "
