" A charming semi-detached cottage of immense character standing close to the heart of the village with a southerly facing rear garden. It is believed that this is only the second time in 70 years that the cottage has been available for sale. The existing owners have sympathetically updated and extended over recent years whilst still retaining all of its inherent character with fireplaces, exposed beams and exposed brick walling. The overall accommodation is larger than first anticipated and includes a lovely and very welcoming entrance hall / living room extending into the sitting room. Both rooms have fireplaces with wood burning stoves and combine to create a very flexible and inviting living space. The careful extension to the rear has created a large kitchen/dining room with underfloor heating and French doors opening out to the terrace and rear garden. The kitchen/dining room provides a fine outlook over the garden and is fitted with a bespoke range of cabinets together with an electric range, breakfast bar, integrated dishwasher, fridge, freezer wine refrigerator and granite work surfaces. The beautiful village of Bentworth is set amidst fine Hampshire countryside and has an active community with a public house, church, hall and St Mary's primary school.
