" The house is one of just five exceptionally well- designed and stylish houses at Old Sidings extending to 215 sq m

(2315 sq ft including garage) with stunning rural views. The house was completed in 2009 and was especially designed with a special emphasis on open plan living to take full advantage of the very strong setting to create light and spacious accommodation with full height vertical windows through the stairwell and exceptional views through large glazed windows from each of the rooms. The very generous accommodation includes a very impressive kitchen / dining / sitting room with oak flooring to the sitting area and folding doors extending to the full width of the room to allow for uninterrupted views over the open farmland beyond. The kitchen is equipped with a range of integrated appliances and quartz work surfaces and has double doors opening onto a balcony at the front. This is a spacious five-bedroom home set over several floors allowing for the accommodation to be arranged in a variety of different ways. The fifth bedroom, for example, could be utilised as a study or second sitting room. The village is set within the South Downs National Park and has a very strong community which together with Upper Farringdon and Chawton has three public houses, village hall, primary school and church. The historic market town of Alton has a good range of High Street shops, senior schools, a further education college, Alton Convent, sports centre and mainline railway station to London Waterloo.
