" A charming and well-presented cottage standing in the heart of this popular Hampshire village. This is a surprisingly spacious cottage forming part of a terrace of six standing well back from the road and approached via an open car parking area shared between four cottages. The entrance lobby leads into a lovely sitting room which features a log burning stove set in a fire place with chequered tiles and a pine mantle shelf. The bespoke kitchen / dining room has ample space for a dining table and includes a range of storage cupboards and woodblock work surfaces. There are a range of fitted appliances including a ceramic hob, electric oven, slim-line dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The rear lobby provides useful storage space and access to the garden. A traditional bathroom with a roll top bath, WC and pedestal wash hand basin completes the ground floor accommodation. There are two well-proportioned bedrooms to the first floor, one featuring a cast iron Victorian style fire place. Of note, in bedroom two there is a pull down folding loft ladder providing access to a very useful loft room with oak effect laminate floor and lovely views over the fields and farmland to the rear. This is a very comfortable cottage which has benefited form considerable care and improvement by the present owners.

Situation
Lower Farringdon is a popular village set within the South Downs National Park. The village has a very strong local community which together with Upper Farringdon and Chawton has three public houses, village hall, primary school and church. The historic market town of Alton has a good range of High Street shops, weekly and specialist markets, senior schools, further education college, convent, sports centre and mainline railway station to London Waterloo.
