As well as being versatile it is also very well presented, having been decorated throughout with the eye catching tiled floors and stripped doors contributing to a character feel.Although we know it is spring, you need not fear temperatures dropping in the winter months with the property benefiting from double glazed windows, cavity wall insulation and gas fired radiator central heating.With many similar sized houses in Alton not having sufficient parking, the three off road parking spaces provided are invaluable and do enable you to leave the car behind and walk to the High Street if you feel inclined to do so.On your door step you will also find the doctors surgery, the sports centre, a bus stop with a service to Basingstoke, and the local public house in the "French horn".Chawton Park Road is also close to "The Butts", a pleasant stretch of grass which provides an open space for informal pursuits.

Surrounded by well kept houses with great neighbours that we will miss, has contributed greatly as to why we have been so happy living here.When we first decided to buy our house it was the overall size that impressed, because at that time we were planning to start a family and thought it ideal for this, with the study ticking another box for me working full time from home.We feel that it is generally a great all rounder house and the only reason we are selling is work related, so in the hope of a stress free move we are willing to vacate to break any chain.
