PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
LOCATION: Situated in a convenient location and within a comfortable level walk of the shops, main line station and infant and junior schools. Liss village is situated in the South Downs National Park. The A3 bypasses the village, providing easy access to the south coast and the M25 and London to the north. The opening of the Hindhead tunnel has enhanced the attraction of this sought after location, potentially attracting people wishing to move out from the traditional commuter belt and suburbs but still being able to return there for work. The other nearby towns of Petersfield, Alton and Haslemere are all easily accessible, as are the cities of Chichester and Portsmouth.
DESCRIPTION: This well proportioned double fronted terrace house is set well back from the road beyond a wide grass verge, screened hedged front boundary and a good size front garden. There is a bright double aspect through sitting room with open fireplace and a generous kitchen/dining room, with a central peninsula breakfast bar with cupboards and drawers below and wood block work surface, built in larder and further worktop with stainless steel sink unit and cupboards below. There is plumbing for a washing machine and slim line dishwasher and a point for a gas cooker. The wall mounted Potterton gas boiler provides the central heating and hot water. From the central entrance hall, stairs lead up to the first floor, with a generous landing with access to loft and doors off to the bright, double aspect, main bedroom overlooking both the front and rear gardens. There is also a good size second bedroom with built in cupboard and airing cupboard, The bathroom has a white suite with panel enclosed bath with Mira electric shower over and washbasin. There is a separate W.C.
Outside the rear garden is a particularly good size having a depth of about 60ft. A feature is the insulated timber garden chalet, internally measuring 12'6 x 10'9, which has a good ceiling height with light and power connected. This is ideal as a home office, a hobbies studio or extensive dry storage. There is a further garden store and outside W.C. And a side gate accesses a walkway, shared with the neighbour, that runs through the building giving access from the front to rear garden. The front garden is an attractive feature with screening hedging to the front and one side. Note there is potential subject to local authority consent to drop the kerb from the road and run a drive across the deep grass verge, into the front garden to create off road parking, others in the road having already done so.
