" This ex-local authority semi-detached cottage has been extended and updated to provide a well proportioned home and is offered for sale with no onward chain. Homefield Cottages is located in the delightful and popular village of Hawkley in a quiet location surrounding by many acres of countryside. Hawkley is a village of about 300 inhabitants and at the heart of the village is the church, the green and the village hall. The Hawkley Inn is a popular public house and the village is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty of mixed farmland and woodlands. The nearby market town of Petersfield has an excellent range of shops including the Rams Walk complex, Waitrose and Tesco supermarkets, Marks & Spencer food hall and a twice weekly market held in The Square on Wednesday and Saturday. Petersfield also has a main line railway station providing a service from Portsmouth to London Waterloo and for commuters travelling by road the A3 bypass has improved access between the South Coast and London.
