" A rare opportunity to purchase this former Inn which has been converted into a well proportioned family home. The property retains many original period features including extensive timber beams to walls and ceilings, open hearth fireplaces and sash windows. The accommodation comprises entrance hall with steps leading down to two substantial cellars, cloakroom with pedestal basin and low level wc and the sitting room has an open hearth fireplace place set in a brick surround, windows to two aspects overlooking the gardens and surrounding countryside, a built-in dresser and glazed door to the outside. The dining room has an Inglenook fireplace with bread oven and a built-in storage cupboard. The study has a sash window providing lovely views over the surrounding countryside and built-in storage cupboards. The kitchen/breakfast room is fitted with a range of units comprising cupboards, drawers, wall cupboards and working surfaces and there is a built-in electric oven and hob, multi-fuel Rayburn and plumbing for dishwasher. The adjoining utility room has plumbing for an automatic washing machine and a stainless steel sink unit.
