" A stunning, well-appointed detached family house designed by renowned local architect Gerald Unsworth, built in 1930 and sympathetically extended by the current owners 10 years ago. It is presented with whitened rendered elevations under a tiled roof.
The property offers well-presented and versatile accommodation of excellent proportions. The property has great character and has retained a wealth of original features including panelled walls, servants' bells, and an open fire in the drawing room. There is a superb kitchen/dining room with a walk-in larder and separate utility room, together with an adjoining family room with double French doors into the garden. The snug has a wood-burning stove and also opens into the garden. Two further rooms at the front of the house offer flexible accommodation, which the current owners use as a music room and study. In addition, there is an annexe with a separate entrance, waiting room and cloakroom, currently used as a home office, which could also make an ideal suite for an au pair or family member.
