" This early 19th century character semi detached cottage is located on the outskirts of Compton village and comes with excellent accommodation as well as enjoying easy access to the A3 (approx 2 miles) as well as a main line station at nearby Farncombe. Our clients have owned the property since 2001 and have overseen numerous improvements and enlargements including the conversion of the loft. Two reception rooms come with fireplaces, with the sitting room featuring a fabulous log burning stove with exposed brick surround and both have stripped pine floorboards which extend through to the third reception room, a light and airy conservatory. The kitchen is comprehensively fitted with a good range of cream shaker style, base and eye level units and roll edge work surfaces. There is an integrated stainless steel oven with a four ring Neff hob, fridge/freezer with matching fascias and space exists for a washing machine in the large adjoining utility/wc. Stairs from the inner hallway lead to the first floor landing which has exposed beams. The two principal bedrooms are generous doubles and both come with feature cast iron fireplaces as well as built in double wardrobes. The third bedroom is still a very reasonable size and enjoys pleasant views to the rear. A further staircase leads to the loft conversion with plenty of eaves storage and would make a great fourth bedroom or alternatively a playroom/office. All have the use of a refitted family bathroom with a white 3 piece suite and ceramic tiled walls and floor. Adjoining is a separate shower room with a quality glass shower cubicle with integrated shower and mosaic tiled walls. Other features of note include gas radiator central heating. "
