" Superbly presented and substantial ground floor accommodation, wonderful gardens and grounds together with a collection of outbuildings, mark out Foxgloves as a very special home.
The balance of well lit formal and informal living accommodation, with direct access into the gardens on a south west facing slope, off Fernden Lane, next door to National Trust land just to the south of Haslemere, yet in West Sussex offers the best of all worlds.
Foxgloves was formerly the coach house for Fernden School, originally a large country house dating back to 1867. The conversion was undertaken in the 1930s and 1950s and the property enjoys generous reception rooms with the current dining room offering scope to convert into a new ground floor master bedroom suite. There is an open kitchen/dining room and a conservatory which is thought to have been added to the family room in 2003. This characterful and charming home benefits from a number of fireplaces, double glazing with most of the windows fitted with attractive plantation shutters.
Situation
The property is in a delightful semi-rural location close to large areas of National Trust land ideal for walking and riding yet only approximately 2? miles from Haslemere's mainline station. There are good road links to London and the south coast and Haslemere mainline station offers a fast train service to London Waterloo in around 49 minutes.
