" With its high ceilings, cornicing and fireplaces, many of this detached house's features have been retained over the years. However the current owners have created a modern, family friendly home that could work perfectly for you. The central area of the house is the open-plan kitchen/family room where you will surely spend much of your time, as well as being a great entertainment area. The kitchen has been refitted with a range of cream-fronted units, granite worktops, a fitted Rangemaster 5-burner range cooker with extractor hood over and dishwasher and fridge. A useful utility room leads off the kitchen, with spaces for the usual appliances. An island unit divides the kitchen from the family/day room, with its stripped pine floorboards and marble surround fireplace. Bi-folding glazed doors lead to the orangery. There are 2 further receptions - a sitting room with a very relaxed feel about it (with a cast-iron fireplace and attractive shuttered windows) and a family room/study. Upstairs, to the 1st floor there are 3 bedrooms. The master has its own en-suite bathroom, fitted with a modern white suite. The guest/teenage room has an en-suite shower-room and there is also what could be used as a useful study/storage room. Upstairs again to the 2nd floor landing and 2 more attractively eaved rooms. The main family bathroom is on this floor which is a lovely large room with shower cubicle in addition to the bath.

The house is heated via a gas central heating system to radiators (boiler in the utility room) and some of the windows have been replaced with sealed unit double glazing in a sensitive style. "
