" Sitting in a highly regarded, quiet and hugely attractive private road location, this is a superb period home of outstanding character. The property has been enormously enjoyed as a family home by our clients, over the years, who have cared for it and maintained it with huge attention to detail as well as cleverly extending to enhance the accommodation, both in terms of its size and practicality. Throughout the house are all of the delightful period features that one would hope to find in a property of this calibre such as solid oak doors and woodwork, beautiful oak framed lead light windows and that wonderful, undefinable feel that comes from these superb character homes.

Immediately, through the front door, the space and the character of the house is at once evident. A beautifully proportioned reception hall runs almost the entire length of the house and leads to all of the principal living spaces. The drawing room is a particularly light and airy room with a lovely central fireplace and delightful views out across the rear garden as well as a door that leads out onto a wonderfully private and attractive sun terrace. This is without doubt, a particularly attractive living room which works exceptionally well with the garden, particularly during the Spring and Summer months. Along the hallway, the dining room is equally attractive, again with a beautifully tiled fireplace and a double aspect giving a view out over the side and rear gardens. The study on the front is superbly fitted out with a full range of fitted furniture and makes an ideal spot for working from home while steps leads down from the inner hallway into a very attractive family room. From here, there are doors that lead out onto a sun terrace and then around to the larger terrace at the side which makes a wonderful spot for outside dining in the warmer months of the year. The kitchen/breakfast room, again is a hugely attractive part of the house as it has been fitted out with a very comprehensive range of solid wood units and granite worktops and has integrated appliances including a coffee machine and a large fridge/freezer. There is also a superb 6 burner Range cooker and to one end, a very comfortable fitted dining area that is a wonderfully informal part of the house, perfect for day to day living and eating. On the first floor, all of the bedrooms are likewise, beautifully proportioned and extremely light and airy, the majority having delightful views out over the gardens. The master bedroom is a particularly attractive light and airy room with a substantial full en-suite bathroom while the guest bedroom also has an en-suite and is likewise, beautifully proportioned. The remaining bedrooms all have the same wonderful character feel to them while the family bathroom has been refitted to a standard one would expect. "
