" The owners of this Edwardian house have completely refurbished and remodelled the accommodation during the past thirteen years. The property has been extended and now provides great space for the family, and apart from the modernisation program, this home was redecorated externally only 6 months ago. The enclosed entrance porch has attractive tiled flooring and a door leads into the bright reception hall which has an understairs storage cupboard. The delightful sitting room to the front of the house has wooden flooring and a fireplace fitted with a wood burner. The study overlooks the garden and has a stable door leading outside. Steps from here lead down to the cellar, making a great place to store those bottles of wine! The family/dining room has a decorative fireplace with a marble mantel and double doors leading out onto the patio. Walk through into the stunning kitchen/breakfast room which is fitted with solid wood painted units. This truly is a wonderful space and together with the family/dining areas make this part of the house superb for entertaining. The kitchen has tiled flooring with under floor heating, ample beech work surfaces with plenty of cupboards and drawers, an integrated dishwasher, a larder cupboard, book shelves and a central island with part wood/granite work tops fitted with an integral microwave and knee-operated waste bin. There is a 5-ring gas hob with extractor over, a feature display brick fireplace and ceiling hi-fi speakers. The good-sized utility enables all the washing and drying to be kept separate from the kitchen and again the room has matching tiled flooring, beech worktops and cupboards. There is also a cloakroom. The stairs from the hall and large window lead up to the first floor. The bedrooms are full of the character and charm one would expect from a property of this era. The master bedroom has wooden flooring, storage and wardrobe cupboards and superb countryside views. The en-suite shower room has a shower cubicle, low level w.c. and wash basin. Bedroom 2 and 3 both have wooden flooring and pretty original fireplaces with tiled hearths. The fourth bedroom would be loved by any teenager or maybe an au-pair as there are steps leading up to a separate bonus room giving additional space to this room. The family bathroom has laminate flooring and a modern white suite of a pedestal wash basin, bidet and low level w.c. The panelled bath has a large skylight above enabling you to relax whilst gazing up at the stars! This lovely home really must be seen. As you walk inside, the stylish interior that the present owners have created soon becomes apparent; you just want to see more! "
