" Very rarely when buying a property are your fortunate enough to inherit a second property at the same time but that is exactly the scenario for any future purchaser of Bridle Croft as included within the sale price is Bridle Croft Cottage. Located towards the top of Cleeve Hill, the two properties enjoy panoramic views over the Severn Vale, the Malvern Hills and as an added bonus, the finishing straight at the world famous Prestbury Park, home of jump racing and the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Although just outside of central Cheltenham, the property borders the villages of Bishops Cleeve and Woodmancote, both with local amenities and the larger village of Bishops Cleeve having its own High Street which offers an array of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and banks and for those seeking the pull of the Promenade and Montpellier, well this is only four miles away.

Returning to the properties, Bridle Croft is the older of the two houses and inside offers spacious and well-appointed accommodation over the two floors. On the ground floor is an entrance hall, study, living room with wooden flooring and an open fire, recessed into a stone fireplace. Further reception rooms include a formal dining room and a conservatory with French doors that lead onto a raised seating area, allowing for maximum intake of the views. Furthermore, the ground floor includes the large country style fitted kitchen/breakfast room, utility and cloakroom. The kitchen offers an array of integral appliances, granite work surfaces, and a tiled floor.

Moving upstairs the bedrooms are light and airy, with all but one enjoying the views the house affords. Furthermore, the master bedroom and guest bedroom offer en suite shower rooms. The upstairs is completed by the five-piece family bathroom.

Outside, the total plot is approximately 2/3 acre and offers driveway parking for multiple cars, a double garage, formal lawns, seating areas, a wooden painted summerhouse, a sunken hot tub and gated pedestrian access directly onto Cleeve Hill.

The final part to this property is Bridle Croft Cottage, until the end of 2017 the property was a two-storey stone workshop with planning permission to convert into a holiday cottage. Fast forward into 2018 and the owners have worked exceptionally hard and now offer a full functioning, beautifully appointed, high spec two storey stone cottage with private driveway and gardens. The interior is modern and contemporary with the ground floor being open plan yet the division between the rooms is clear. There is a cloakroom, living room with wood flooring and a kitchen/dining room that is quite simply, stunning. The kitchen is cream with wood worksurfaces, there is an array of integrated appliances, but it is the floor tiling that really makes this house stand out.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one very large double bedroom and a slightly smaller double, with both sharing a three-piece shower room. The master bedroom also offers a view over the Racecourse.
