" This most attractive and stylish country property is attached to the rear and has been extended to the front from the original cottage to create a lovely, spacious family home of great character. Approached via a private driveway and situated in a slightly elevated rural, but not isolated position being adjacent to a farm and a further similar property to the rear. Upper Buttersend Cottage overlooks its own gardens with country views to the front and side aspect. The accommodation is well proportioned with interesting character features including a fabulous double height vaulted and beamed ceiling in the living room with gallery above (accessed via the master bedroom), exposed beams throughout and a beautifully fitted kitchen with breakfast room. Both the living room and kitchen have full height windows which allow a great deal of light into the house plus French doors to the front aspect that open to the south westerly facing gardens. The ground floor accommodation has flexible living space, the current owners use a reception room as a playroom/family room however this room is a second sitting room or larger formal dining room if required. There is space in the kitchen for a breakfast table as well as the fitted central island breakfast bar. On the first floor there are three double sized bedrooms with great character, two of which have en-suites, a further smaller bedroom and fifth bedroom/childrens room on the second floor. The master bedroom has an adjacent bathroom and access to a private study room which is a gallery to the main reception room below. The gardens offer a good degree of privacy and there is the advantage of a triple garage and good sized workshop to the side. This is a particularly attractive property situated in a lovely rural location within good commuting access of Gloucester and Cheltenham.
