Open plan lounge/dining area, kitchen, utility, fabulous conservatory, four bedrooms, master ensuite and family bathroom. Various outbuildings. Double glazing and gas central heating.

An immaculate stone built former millhouse in the beautiful village of Milton of Buchanan, on the outskirts of rural Drymen.   Milton of Buchanan takes its name from the presence of the mill and this site has probably been used for milling for several centuries. The building was converted to residential use in the early 1990's and now provides comfortable family living over two main levels. The property benefits from contemporary fixtures and fittings throughout, including designer bathrooms, stunning fresh and neutral d?cor, whilst retaining many original features, including the original mill gears.

The well tended and landscaped gardens extend to over one acre. To the front of the property is a sweeping driveway with space for many cars which leads to a variety of outbuildings including garaging, a studio and office area over two levels with WC and a workshop/storage area. Crossing the burn, which fed the original mill wheel, leads you to the extensive rear gardens, which are mainly laid to lawn screened by mature trees and have a child's play area and a raised decked area, taking advantage of the views to Conic Hill and benefiting from a great degree of privacy.

Internally the accommodation is spread over two main levels and extends to an open plan living area with formal lounge space with a multi fuel burning stove and a step to formal dining area, which has the original mill wheel as its focal point. This in turn leads to a breakfasting kitchen with separate utility space and onto a traditionally constructed conservatory that wraps around the end of the building providing excellent views over the rear garden. Completing the ground floor accommodation is a cloakroom/WC.

Upstairs is a fabulous master bedroom with beautifully appointed ensuite shower room, three further bedrooms and a contemporary style family bathroom. The upper landing has a useful study area. Throughout, the property is beautifully presented with fresh, neutral d?cor and would be ideal for anyone looking to live in a semi rural location in a stylish, easily maintained property close to the village and community in Drymen and Loch Lomond.
