SITUATION 6 Wood Close is situated in the popular Teign Valley village of Christow, just within the eastern boundary of the Dartmoor National Park. The village has a strong community with a doctors surgery, shop/post office, village store, well regarded pub, primary school, parish church and community centre.   There are regular bus services into Exeter and Newton Abbot. The university and cathedral city of Exeter lies approximately 8 miles to the east, and has a wide range of facilities and amenities one would expect of a centre of its size including excellent dining, shopping, theatre and sporting and recreational pursuits. There are mainline railway stations on the London Paddington and Waterloo lines. Exeter International Airport lies about 4 miles to the east of the city.   Due to its position within the Dartmoor National Park, there is ample opportunity for a range of outdoor pursuits within the vicinity including excellent walking, riding and cycling.   The A38 is approximately 5 miles distant, providing excellent access to both Plymouth and M5 to the north. DESCRIPTION 6 Wood Close is a detached bungalow situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the Teign Valley village of Christow. Built in approximately 1970 with a later extension, of brick elevations beneath a tiled roof, the property offers spacious accommodation and benefits from double glazing, oil-fired central heating and cavity wall insulation.   Front door leads to the reception hallway off which are the principal living rooms. There is a good size, dual aspect sitting room, with feature fireplace with inset gas fire. Double doors lead out to the gardens. The modern fitted kitchen has a range of matching eye and base level units, including an integrated fridge, sink with drainer and electric cooker. There are two good sized double bedrooms, one with fitted wardrobes. The family bathroom is a modern 3-piece white suite comprising panelled bath with shower over, low level wc and pedestal wash basin. The L-shaped hallway has a large area for dining table and chairs, as well as door to the garage. OUTSIDE A driveway with parking for one vehicle, leads to the large garage/utility room, with up-and-over door, power and light connected, space and plumbing for washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer, work surfaces and cupboards. A path leads around to the front door through the front garden which is enclosed and laid to level lawn and interspersed with a number of flower and shrub beds. To the left hand side of the property a lawn leads around to the rear garden, which is again enclosed and level. This is also accessed via a pedestrian gateway. At the far end is a large paved patio area and shed. There is much interest for the keen gardener with many mature trees, shrubs and flower beds. There are also some excellent views across the valley to the surrounding countryside. Drive up the hill into the village, and immediately after the playing field on the left turn right into Wood Close and the property is the first on the left.
