SITUATION

This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a bungalow which comes to the open market for the first time in many years with enormous potential and in need of total restoration, refurbishment and modernisation both inside and out. The property stands on a very good sized level site not far from the centre of this incredibly popular East Devon village and may have even further potential for possible redevelopment of the site. (Purchasers would need to make their own investigations with the planners in this regard.)

The property occupies a good level position, as previously mentioned, not far from the centre of the village which enjoys first class lines of communication with Exeter Airport being conveniently close by without being a nuisance. Whimple also has a railway station with regular services running between Exeter and London Waterloo. Junctions 29 and 30 of the M5 motorway are just a ten minute drive or so away and there is also a bus service into Exeter running in the village. There are lots of exciting things happening in the vicinity in particular the early stages of the development of the new town at Cranbrook which when completed will be a fantastic boon to Whimple providing as planned a good range of extensive new town facilities.

Whimple has a fantastic village atmosphere with good pubs, thriving primary school and wonderful old church plus village stores, etc, and is also very conveniently placed for access to coastal resorts and Woodbury Common not too far away.

Overall this is a fantastic opportunity in a fantastic village and the agents wholeheartedly recommend inspection and a high level of serious interest is anticipated.
