We are privileged as the owner's sole agents to offer Fordton Cottage. This 3 bedroom semi-detached cottage was built in 1908 and constructed from brick and slate and is situated towards the outskirts of the much favoured village of Whimple yet just a short level walk from the village centre. The stylish accommodation comprises a conservatory/lean too, study, cloakroom, fitted kitchen/dining room and an attractive sitting room with fireplace on the ground floor while on the first floor there are 3 bedrooms and an attractive bathroom suite. The characterful d?cor consists of mostly original floorboards and finished beautifully in neutral colours throughout while being served by oil central heating.


Outside
The property is set in delightful grounds and is surrounded by farmland and apple orchards having previously been occupied by workers for the famous Whiteways Cider company. The gardens which extend to approximately a quarter of an acre consist mainly of lawn with colourful shrubs, gravel pathway and an avenue of lime trees and large patio and two useful timber sheds. There is also a large gravel offering ample parking.

Directions
From Ottery St Mary proceed towards the A30 and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit on to the old A30. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit and continue straight on. Take the turning right signposted to Whimple and continue through the village until you come to the Thirsty Farmer pub. Turn left at the roundabout signposted Broadclyst and then straight across the next roundabout. Continue along this road for approximately 1 mile and after a sharp left hand corner the property can be found on the right hand side after approximately 200 yards.

Whimple is a most sought after East Devon village approximately 9 miles from both Exeter and Honiton. It is unusual in having a main line Railway Station with regular service to Exeter and Waterloo. The village has a Church, School, Post Office, Hairdresser and two Public Houses, Tennis and Cricket Clubs and many other Clubs and Societies. "
