Milltown is a hamlet situated within the parish of Marwood on the outskirts of Barnstaple. Marwood encompasses several hamlets and villages and within the parish are a number of period inns, churches and village halls. There are also a number of notable primary, public and state schools in the immediate area. Barnstaple, North Devon's regional centre lies about five miles to the south and houses the areas main business, commercial, entertainment and shopping venues. The North Devon Leisure Centre provides many indoor pursuits along with the Tarka Tennis Centre, both in Barnstaple. Live theatres are available at Barnstaple and Ilfracombe, whilst other sporting and leisure pursuits are closer to hand including golf at Landkey, Ilfracombe and Saunton. North Devon's famous coast line is within easy access and provides an excellent range of safe, and sandy beaches and walking country in abundance. The favoured resorts of Croyde and Woolacombe are nearby. A short distance away is access to the North Devon Road leading through to Junction 27 of the M5, where there is also access to Tiverton Parkway (London Paddington in just over two hours). DIRECTIONS Proceed out of Barnstaple on the A39 sign posted Lynton. After passing the North Devon District Hospital on your right, turn left onto the B3230 sign posted Muddiford and Ilfracombe. Continue through the village of Muddiford, passing the turning to Berry Down and Combe Martin. Continue on the B3230, you will eventually come to Milltown village turn right where there is a sign post to The Round House and a Stags to let board, continue up this lane until you see a turning to the right to Whitefield Lodge next to a stone shed, take this turning and proceed up the drive. Continue along the front of the building and the entrance to number 1 will be found on the right. LETTINGS The property is available to rent on a 6 month renewable Assured Shorthold Tenancy, unfurnished and is available July/ August. RENT:?1350 per calendar month exclusive of all charges. DEPOSIT:?2000 returnable at the end of the tenancy subject to any deductions. Usual references required. No DSS/Smokers. Pets and children considered. Viewing strictly through the Agents.
