Situated on the old principal route between Bideford and Barnstaple (approximately 4.5 miles distant respectively) and within 1 mile or so of the local estuary village of Instow with its sandy beach and dunes, popular hostelries, general stores, galleries and the North Devon Yacht Club. Fremington village with its wider range of facilities and Junior/infants schooling is also within 1 mile or so.
