" Riverdale is a charming period home located right at the heart of this very popular and picturesque Exe Estuary town. Rarely available this home has been lovingly cared for and gradually improved and now offers new owners the chance to enjoy the chance of living in comfort one of Topsham's historic riverside homes. Riverdale is found on Ferry Road which itself runs parallel with the River. As the roads name suggests a Foot Ferry exists just a few yards from the property during the Summer months across the river with access to the Turf Locks Hotel and Canal just a few yards away. The towns has always attracted keen sailors and the towns sailing club is also found nearby. Fore Street which now boasts an impressive selection of stylish shops is a short walk away coupled with the fact that the Town has recently won an award as the best town in the South West for its choice of Food and Drink this must place Topsham high on the list of desirable waterside retreats in the South West. Transport and Leisure pursuits are also close at hand with the cathedral city of Exeter within 4 miles and quick access to the M5 at junction 30 and the A30 into Cornwall. London Paddington is within 2 hours of Exeter.


Directions
On leaving the Topsham office turn left and cross over the road heading down Fore Street. Turn Right in to Exe Street and follow the road down to the end and turn right. Riverdale will then be found on the right hand side.

Topsham remains an estuary town of nationwide renown, reflected in its character period cottages and houses, perfectly blended with a range of more modern homes. Its excellent amenities range from a splendid individual-styled parade of shops to churches, restaurants, several pubs, a school and a bowling and sailing club. There is also a frequent bus service and a train link between Exmouth and Exeter.
