Colyton is a picturesque and popular destination with a thriving community. It boasts good shopping facilities, Public Library, Health Centre, Inns, Restaurants, Churches and, of course, the famous Tramway leading through Colyton stopping at Colyford and arriving at the Coastal town of Seaton. The County town of Exeter, with its regional airport, is some twenty miles to the west, and the mainline rail link to London (Waterloo) is at Axminster, approximately seven miles distant. On entering Colyton Town Centre from Colyford on the B3161, take the road ahead into Queen Street. At the bottom of the hill in Queen's Square, take a left into Sidmouth Road. Keep right and continue up Sidmouth Road with the cemetary on your right and take the left turn into Burnards Field Road.
