The Anchorage is a detached house which occupies a pleasant position within this popular and sought after East Devon Village. Colyford is a small, historic village of great charm and character and offers a good range of day to day amenities. There is a Parish Church and a Village Hall and there are two village Inns, one being The Wheelwright which is popular and has awards for good food. Within walking distance is the much acclaimed Colyton Grammar School, which has national recognition. Within a short drive is Colyton, where there are a good range of shops and a Doctors Surgery.
