From Holsworthy proceed on the A388 Bideford road for 3 miles, and upon reaching Holsworthy Beacon turn left signed Sutcombe. Follow this road for about 2 miles and on the edge of Sutcombe, having just passed over the stone bridge, turn right signed Upcott/Brendon. Follow this country lane for about 0.5 miles up the hill and look out for the unsigned turning on the right hand side which says 'unsuitable for large vehicles', and the cottage will be then be found after about 0.25 miles on the left hand side with a Bond Oxborough Phillips 'For Sale' notice clearly displayed.
