A deceptive 4 bedroom period cottage within the town with recently updated accommodation throughout and enclosed garden.

Park Street is well positioned within the town, ideally placed for the towns’ amenities including both primary and secondary schools and transport links to Exeter.

The Grade II thatched cottage has undergone a programme of updating by the current owners and offers modern yet characterful accommodation over two floors. The ground floor has an extension to create an open and light kitchen/dining room

(recently fitted) plus a large living room. The bathroom is modern and can be found off the stairs leaving a full 4 bedrooms to the first floor. There is mains gas central heating to the ground floor but currently no radiators on the first floor.

Outside is on street parking to the front and an enclosed garden to the rear. There is a historic right of way across the back of the cottages although we are informed this is rarely used. A second pedestrian access is also in place for sole use of Number 8.

CREDITON is an old Mid Devon market town with a wealth of history, being situated just 7.5 miles north-west of the Cathedral City of Exeter with the M5 motorway some 3 miles further on. The town is surrounded by unspoilt farmland in an area of great natural beauty.  There is a regular daily bus service to Exeter plus trains every hour to Exeter and Barnstaple and a local town bus which covers most urban areas.  The town is most famous for its ancient parish church and for being the birthplace of St Boniface in 680 AD.  It has excellent schooling facilities at both senior and junior levels and a sports and leisure centre incorporating a superb swimming pool.  The town has an excellent selection of shops with a Morrisons and a large Tesco superstore/petrol filling station.

DIRECTIONS  From the High Street by car, proceed in an Easterly direction turning right into Dean Street opposite the parish church. At the end of Dean Street, turn right into Park Street, proceed around the right hand bend and Number 8 will be found on the left hand side.
