Windsurfing, kayaking and other watersports can be enjoyed both on the Axe Estuary and from the long shingle beach. The famous Seaton Tramway runs a frequent service from Harbour Road car park alongside the estuary to Colyton, with a halt at Colyford. Much patronised by ornithologists, many migrant and resident birds can be seen in their natural environment whilst travelling in a peaceful and unique manner on a range of historic tramcars. A host of public footpaths and walks are nearby, with one of the most spectacular and challenging being the South West Coast Path to Lyme Regis, via the 19th century landslip. Regular bus services are available from Seaton, and the nearest mainline railway station is at Axminster, some 7 miles to the north.

From our Fox & Sons office in Axminster, follow the A358 towards Seaton. On reaching the staggered crossroads at Boss Hill turn right then immediately left towards Axmouth and Seaton. Drive through the village of Axmouth and approximately 100yrds before the Axe Bridge turn left signposted Axe Cliff Golf Club. The property can be found towards the top of the hill on the right hand side.
