" A beautiful 18th century home located within close proximity to Waltham Abbey’s town centre. This two bedroom cottage is steeped in character and enjoys the idyllic position adjacent to a tributary of the River Lea. Exposed beams and fireplaces  are just a couple of the features that add to this property's charm.

 
Nestled behind an inconspicuous gate lie four ‘hidden’ cottages right in the heart of Waltham Abbey’s historic town centre and just moments from Waltham Abbey Church itself. As you open the gate a right of way leads you through the gardens until you reach your front entrance door. Character just oozes from this lovely cottage from the moment you step inside.

The reception room to the front enjoys a lovely aspect over the garden and down to the water and during the colder, winter months the room is dominated by a brick built fireplace which creates a warm cosy ambience to the room. As you would expect from a property of this era, exposed beams are prominent throughout adding to the character.
