A substantial detached family home situated in a prime residential area of Linlithgow. The property was built by Harrisons Builders in the late 1960s as part of the continued expansion of housing to the upper parts of the town. The name of Friars Way is taken from the nearby Carmelite Friary, a historic building which dates back to 1290.

This four bedroom house has a most advantageous accommodation layout and would be ideally suited for the growing family. Externally there are both front and rear gardens, with latter having an attractive grass lawn and patio area.  Access to the integral garage is via the property’s own driveway.  Internally Friar’s Way benefits from being well-presented throughout and has a downstairs WC which is accessible from the entrance hall.

The downstairs accommodation comprises of a hallway decorated in warm neutral tones which contributes to the feeling of light and space, good-sized downstairs WC, impressive lounge which leads onto the dining room and has separate access to the kitchen as well as patio doors leading into the garden, modern fitted kitchen with white laminate faced kitchen units and ceramic tiled floor.  There is also space for a breakfasting table and chairs.

Linlithgow is a much sought-after location, with easy access to the central belt motorway network.  The town is situated 18 miles from Edinburgh and 36 miles from Glasgow.  The local train station provides regular services to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling.  The historic town is the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots, has good local shopping and highly sought-after schools and Linlithgow Academy is one of the top performing secondary schools.
