" A meticulously renovated Grade II Listed Georgian property located on Myddelton Square overlooking St Marks Church. The property was built in the early 1800s and still retains many period features which have been blended seamlessly with some expert interior design. Totalling near 4,000 sq ft across six floors the property is architecturally extended to the rear. The raised ground floor offers a reception with intricate coving, dark oak wooden flooring, original sash window overlooking the square, and a dining room to the rear featuring a bespoke mural painted by Icelandic artist Ragnar Kjartansson. The glass box kitchen extension is impressive and floods the entertaining space with natural light, the original arched window and brickwork has been left exposed with the glass skylight above working to bring the 19th century exterior inside. This is juxtaposed beautifully with the bespoke kitchen finished in dark wood, to compliment the continued wood flooring, and a complex turquoise marble worktop and splash back. There are built in appliances to include a hot water tap and double tap dishwasher. The floor to ceiling glass to the rear frames the landscaped garden, which faces south west and reaches over 30 ft. The lower ground floor houses two bathrooms, a utility room, optional bedroom or work from home space, two stores, and a wine cellar complete with temperature controlled wine fridge. The first floor has been retained as a reception room and displays ornate cornicing; the rear room is currently used as a study. The second floor houses a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom complete with freestanding tub and walk in shower. The third floor is home to the indulgent principal suite with high ceilings, dual sash windows overlooking the square, his and hers bathrooms finished in marble and stone, and a walk in wardrobe. The top floor offers a final double bedroom, again, complete with en-suite and ample storage. The property is for sale chain free and there is an optional garage with a long lease. A uniquely designed period property on one of Finsbury and Angels most sought after garden squares.
