SITUATION:  No 28, West Walk is situated at the end of a quiet and private cul-de-sac road on the western fringe of the coastal resort of West Bay which forms part of the famous Jurassic Coastline and now has World Heritage status.  The village provides a useful range of local facilities including shops, hotels and picturesque harbour which provides good boating facilities and, on East Cliff, there is an 18-hole golf course.  In addition there are some fine coastal walks in the immediate vicinity along the cliff tops.  The whole area is classed as one of outstanding natural beauty.

The market town of Bridport lies about 1.5 miles distant with its comprehensive range of shops and professional offices. Dorchester, the County Town of Dorset, lies some 16 miles to the east where there is a main line rail service to London, Waterloo.
