SITUATION:  Tern Cottage is the first property on the left within the private area of West Cliff managed by an Estate Management Committee comprised of local residents and unfrequented by tourists.  There is a direct public footpath opposite the property affording a 2 minute walk to the main promenade, beach and coastal path.

West Bay has local shops, food kiosks, a boat harbour with boating trips available and piers for angling/crabbing and lobster pots as well as areas used for water polo, canoeing and gig rowing.  The area is renowned for the Jurassic Coastline and there is a cliff-top golf course with popular club house.  West Bay has also recently been host to the popular Broadchurch TV series and has always been a well reputed holiday destination for retreats as well as lifestyle homes.

THE PROPERTY comprises a mature, detached seaside bungalow of traditional construction with colourwashed elevations under a slate roof with attached garage affording scope for conversion to further accommodation.

The property has been well maintained over the years with the addition of the uPVC conservatory which affords good light, space and views and, with two sets of double French doors, integrates the inside with the outside.  There are uPVC double-glazed windows, doors and rainwater goods and the chimney breast was re-built in 2007.
