" A delightful detached family home located in a sought after area of Redlands, Weymouth. Situation Located in a popular residential area, this property is ideally situated for easy access into both Weymouth and Dorchester. Both towns have excellent shops, schools, restaurants and main line railway stations to London Waterloo.

Weymouth is a large seaside town set in a wide bay of mostly sand. The beach is popular in the summer months and the town has long been a holiday destination - made popular by the visits of King George III. The magnificent Georgian Esplanade looks out across the Bay and its safe, clean sand. It was originally a fishing village which grew in the late 1600's but it still retains a very busy harbour (with connections to France and the Channel Islands) and is a stopping point for numerous leisure and pleasure craft.The town has many amenities and facilities with many old and authentic pubs sitting happily alongside modern vibrant eateries. There is a good tourist Information centre and an excellent Market on Thursdays and no visit is complete without a walk along chesil beach - one of the many natural wonders of the area.
