The village of Winterborne Whitechurch has a public house and primary school. It is located approximately 6 miles from the historic Georgian market town of Blandford Forum and 10 miles from the county town of Dorchester. The historic village of Milton Abbas which is known for its distinctive thatched cottages on either side of the street designed in the late 18th century by Capability Brown is less than 3 miles away.
