The Area

Dale Terrace is situated just outside the village of Woodland, approximately 6 miles from the historic market town of Barnard Castle, in an elevated situation with stunning views. Woodland supports a village shop/post office, public house, church and primary school with a wider range of shopping, educational and recreational facilities being found within Barnard Castle, Bishop Auckland, Wolsingham and Darlington.

Woodland and Dale Terrace are on the main bus route into Bishop Auckland and Barnard Castle.

For the commuter the A67, A68 and A1 (M) provide links with the major commercial centres of the North East. Darlington Mainline Railway Station and Durham Tees Valley International Airport are easily accessible and offer further communications with the rest of the country.

Hamsterley Forest is less that 2 miles from the property and many of the attractions of Teesdale can be found with in a short drive beyond which are the delights of Weardale, the Lake District, North Yorkshire, Northumberland and the East Coast.

Directions
From the centre of Barnard Castle proceed up Galgate turning left onto Harmire Road after approximately half a mile. At the subsequent cross roads proceed straight across and continue down the bank and up the far side turning right at the subsequent T junction. Follow the road for approximately 1 mile and Dale Terrace will be seen set back on the left hand side with the subject property being indicated with by a George F White 'To Let' board.

The property shall be let unfurnished by way of an Assured Shorthold Tenancy for an initial term of six months at a rental figure of ?390.00 per calendar month, payable in advance by standing order. In addition, a deposit of one months rent shall also be payable prior to occupation.

The Landlord's agent will take up references through a referencing agency, the cost of which is ?120 (including VAT) for the first applicant with ?60 each (including VAT) for additional applicants. The obtaining of such references is not a guarantee of acceptance.
