The Area

Cotherstone is a sought after village within the heart of Teesdale supporting a traditional range of amenities with a further selection of shopping, educational and recreational facilities being found within the nearby historic market town of Barnard Castle. The village is surrounded by delightful open countryside with many walks and renowned beauty spots being close at hand.

For the commuter the A66, A67 and A1 (M) provide links with the major commercial centres of the North East. Darlington Mainline Railway Station and Durham Tees Valley International Airport offer further communications with the rest of the country.

The Property

The main entrance leads across the courtyard garden to the rear of the house and via patio doors into the good sized garden room/conservatory which could be used as an entrance hall or dining room, a door leads into the dining kitchen, which is fitted with a comprehensive range of shaker style base and wall mounted storage units with contrasting wood effect tops having void and space for washing machine, dishwasher, free standing fridge freezer together with an integral electric oven and four burner gas hob with extractor over. Double doors open into a large reception room which is laid with a cream carpet and is of generous proportions and has a window looking out to the front of the property. A door leads into the passage to the front door and access to an under stairs storage cupboard.

Off the kitchen there is a stairwell and stairs rise to a light and airy landing area and a hatch provides access to the loft.

There are two large double bedrooms and a third smaller bedroom which would accommodate a double bed.

To the rear of the property is the master bedroom. A large double bedroom with built in cupboards within the alcove again enjoying views over the rear of the property. To the rear of the property is a good sized family bathroom fitted with contemporary grey tiling having WC, wash hand basin and full sized bath with mixed tap and shower over together with glass shower screen and chrome fitted heated towel rail, frosted window looking out to the rear.
