The Area
Thorngate is a popular area of Barnard Castle, within walking distance of the town centre via The Bank. Thorngate offers an idyllic setting adjoining the River Tees alongside the ?Green Bridge?.

Barnard Castle is an historic market town which provides a range of shopping, educational and recreational facilities. The Demesnes which is a delightful open recreational space lies eastwards along the river from where there are further walks. Often referred to as the ?Gateway to Teesdale? there are many renowned beauty spots close at hand as well as the attractions of the North Yorkshire Moors and Dales, the Lake District and Northumberland.

For the commuter the A66, A67 and A1 (M) provide links with the major commercial centres of the North East. Darlington Mainline Railway Station and Durham Tees Valley International Airport offer further communications with the rest of the country.

The Property
24 Thorngate is a Grade II Listed stone built end of terrace property which has recently undergone complete renovation to a very high specification.
