Bouch Way is situated at the top end of Montalbo Road adjoining Flatts Wood in a sought after and convenient part of the town. There are delightful walks through the woods down to the river Tees along with pedestrian walkways through to the town centre. Barnard Castle provides a range of shopping, educational and recreational facilities and is often referred to as the ?Gateway to Teesdale?.

There are many renowned beauty spots close at hand beyond which can be found the attractions of North Yorkshire, Weardale, the Lake District, Northumberland and the East Coast.
