The Area
Middleton in Teesdale is a large village supporting a self sufficient range of amenities including numerous shops, public houses, primary school, church and doctors surgery. It lies 11 miles from the historic market town of Barnard Castle which provides a broader range of shopping, educational and recreational amenities.

For the commuter the A66, A67 and A1 (M) provide links with the major commercial centres of the North East. Darlington Mainline Railway Station and Durham Tees Valley International Airport offer further communications with the rest of the country. Many of the attractions of Teesdale can be found within a short drive beyond which can be found the delights of North Yorkshire, Weardale, the Lake District, Northumberland and the East Coast.

The Property
2 Chapel Row is a deceptively spacious mid terrace property which offers flexible family accommodation over three floors. The property benefits from oil fired central heating and double glazing throughout as well as front and rear courtyards.

A uPVC entrance door leads into an entrance vestibule which in turn leads into the living room. The living room is a good sized room having a bay window to the front which enjoys views over the village green. There is a multi-fuel stove which is set onto a solid hearth with a decorative period surround. From the living room glazed double opening doors lead into the dining area.

The dining area has space for a family dining table and chairs, built in storage units, window over looking the rear yard and an oil fired Rayburn, which services the central heating. The kitchen is fitted with a range of base and wall mounted storage units, stainless steel sink and tiled splash backs. There is an integrated oven with hob and extractor over, integrated refrigerator/freezer and space for a washing machine. There are two windows which look over and a door which leads out to the rear yard.

The stairs from the dining room lead up to the spacious first floor landing which is currently utilised as a home office/study but could also be used as a hobby/play area. The landing was formerly a bedroom but was opened up by the current owners, if desired the bedroom wall could be reinstated.

The master bedroom lies to the front of the property and is a generous double room having a bay window which enjoys views over the village green.
