The Area
Middleton in Teesdale is a large, self sufficient village supporting a broad range of amenities including shops, public houses, church, primary school and doctor?s surgery.

A wider range of shopping, educational and recreational facilities can be found within the neighbouring market town of Barnard Castle, which is often referred to as the ?Gateway to Teesdale?.

There are many delightful walks and renowned beauty spots close at hand beyond which can be found the attractions of North Yorkshire, Northumberland, the Lake District and the East Coast.

For the commuter the A66, A67 and A1 (M) provide links with the major commercial centres of the North East. Darlington Mainline Railway Station and Durham Tees Valley International Airport provide further communications with the rest of the country.


The Property
20 Town Head is a deceptively spacious traditional, stone built property which is situated on the fringe of the village. The property offers flexible living accommodation, three bedrooms and an enclosed garden with views over the neighbouring countryside. There is space for a family dining table and chairs as well as additional furniture.

The kitchen is fitted with a range of base and wall mounted storage units, tiled splash backs and a one and a half bowl stainless steel sink. There is an integral electric oven with electric hob and extractor hood over as well as space for free standing refrigerator/freezer and washing machine.

A large under stairs storage cupboard currently offers additional storage/pantry space but could also be utilised as a cloaks cupboard.

To the first floor there are three bedrooms and family shower room/WC. The master bedroom lies to the front of the property and is a generous dual aspect double room having the benefit of a large walk in wardrobe.

The second bedroom is a further double room which has a window looking over open countryside. The third bedroom is a single room which lies to the rear of the property.

The shower room is partially tiled and fitted with a white suite including corner shower cubicle, WC and hand wash basin.


Externally
Wrought iron gates lead onto the patio area which extends along the front of the property and provides access to the main garden which is south facing, fully enclosed and private. The garden is mainly laid to lawn having flower borders and a path which leads down to the stone outbuilding. The outbuilding offers excellent storage but could also be utilised as a workshop, if required.

Directions
From the centre of Barnard Castle proceed out of town past the golf course, over Folly Top and through Eggleston. Proceed into Middleton continuing through the main part of the village bearing off to the right, just after the Teesdale Hotel (sign posted Stanhope). Proceed up Town Head for approximately 300 meters. The subject property will then be seen set back on the left hand side up the tarmacadam lane through the black wrought iron gates.
