The Area
Middleton in Teesdale is a large self sufficient village supporting a broad range of amenities including shops, public houses, church, primary school and doctor?s surgery.

A wider range of shopping, educational and recreational facilities can be found within the neighbouring market town of Barnard Castle, which is often referred to as the ?Gateway to Teesdale?.

There are many delightful walks and renowned beauty spots close at hand beyond which can be found the attractions of North Yorkshire, Northumberland, the Lake District and the East Coast.

For the commuter the A66, A67 and A1 (M) provide links with the major commercial centres of the North East. Darlington Mainline Railway Station and Durham Tees Valley International Airport provide further communications with the rest of the country.

64 Market Place is an end of terrace cottage which enjoys a central location within the village. The property has the benefit of flexible accommodation, enclosed yard and cellar.

A part glazed entrance door leads into the sitting room which is a good sized room having a tiled fireplace with electric fire, storage cupboard and a window which looks over the green at the front of the property.

A door from the sitting room leads into the inner hall which has access to the stairs, dining room and an additional door which leads out to the side of the property.

The dining room is a further good sized room having a window to the side which over looks the yard and opening through to the kitchen area.

The kitchen has a basic range of base and wall mounted storage units and void and plumbing for automatic washing machine, refrigerator and electric freestanding cooker.

To the first floor are three bedrooms and a family bathroom/WC. The master bedroom lies to the front of the property and is a generous double room which enjoys views out over the green. The second bedroom is a further double room, lying to the rear. While the third bedroom is a good sized single room, lying to the front.

The bathroom is partially tiled and fitted with a coloured suite, including bath and hand wash basin. Adjoining the bathroom is a separate WC.

Externally
64 Market Place is accessed via a public cobbled path with steps which lies adjacent to the green. To the front is an open patio area with wrought iron gateway to the side of the property where there are external stone stores and courtyard.
Access to the cellar is via a doorway located at the bottom of the cobbled steps beneath the property. Previously there has been access to the cellar from the sitting room via stone steps.

Directions
From the centre of Barnard Castle proceed up Galgate turning left onto Harmire Road after approximately half a mile. Continue out of town past the golf club, over Folly Top and through Eggleston.
