Middleton In Teesdale is a large village supporting a traditional range of amenities including primary school, doctor?s surgery, public houses along with a range of shops and tea rooms plus a small supermarket. There is also a church, chapel and filling station.

The nearby historic market town of Barnard Castle provides a broader range of shopping, educational and recreational facilities and there are links with the major commercial centres of North East via A66, A67 and A1 (M)

From the centre of Barnard Castle proceed up Galgate turning left onto Harmire Road after approximately half a mile and continue out of town past the golf course.

Go over Folly Top, past Eggleston and proceed into Middleton-In-Teesdale. Continue through the centre of the village, past the Teesdale Hotel and over Hudeshope Beck. Follow the road as it bears sharply to the left, proceed up the hill where the entrance to Burn Bank Court will be seen shortly on the left hand side. Proceed into the development and number 10 will be on will be on the left hand, identified by a George F White ?For Sale? board.
