" Coming to the market for the first time in over 40 years, The Beacon is a handsome detached five bedroom house, located in an enviable position within a plot of over 3 acres in the delightful village of Farningham.

Although the house is in need of some updating, it would be possible to significantly extend (subject to the relevant planning permissions), or even replace the current dwelling. The current owners have investigated both options with 'Fuller Long' and they feel, subject to local council agreement, it would be possible to either extend or rebuild.

On entering the property you are greeted by a spacious entrance hall, which leads into a generous triple aspect sitting room, with views over the gardens and grounds. There is a good sized dining room, second reception room, sun room and study. The kitchen/breakfast Room is of good size and also benefits from a walk-in larder. A utility room and cloakroom complete the ground floor accommodation. There is a also a basement level offering additional storage/wine stores.

To the first floor are 4/5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The majority of the bedrooms are double rooms, enjoying views over the gardens and grounds. There is the added benefit of an attic room, which offers both accommodation and storage potential.

Situation
This fantastic property is located in a tucked away location in the village of Farningham, with its Public Houses, period properties and green spaces.
