" When the current owners first purchased this home the accommodation was so versatile that a section of the ground floor was used as an annex. Now, whilst the owners have not needed to use this space as a dedicated annex, the potential is still there should the need arise. It was in the late 1990’s that the owners bought this home and have since made numerous substantial improvements which they hope will benefit the next owners in the years to come. These improvements would include the refurbishment of the main family bathroom in 2004 and more recently the replacement double glazing in approximately 2007, in addition to the complete overhaul of the previous decor. The property can be found just a stone’s throw from the National Trust Country Park of Trosley, which is very popular with the public enjoying bike riding, dog walking, orienteering or simply those just keen to wear out the kids! The property also happens to have the benefit of being set within what is locally regarded as one of the most sought after roads within the village which perhaps is one reason why property rarely becomes available here.

What the Owner says:

When it came to making our minds up on whether to buy this home or not, the sheer level of accommodation we were getting for our money played a huge role in our decision to proceed. We also knew that living within the village already meant we were buying a home in a road that most people locally regarded as the pinnacle of the village and therefore hoped this would protect financially whatever money we spent making it our own !This is our third house within this village and would not hesitate in recommending the area to potential buyers wanting a village lifestyle with schooling and shops on your doorstep.
