" Step into this wonderful light filled house and you immediately feel at home. You can tell the house is refurbished to a high standard with its stylish take on modern elegance and luxurious furnishings.

The warm atmosphere that greets you and the sound of real wood fires crackling in the background is the perfect way to have guests enter this south facing home. All of the principal rooms benefit from southerly views, as do three of the bedrooms.

Southdown is bathed in sunlight throughout Summer and Winter, even on the dullest of days the light is amazing and perfect to admire the panoramic views across the undulating Cheshire countryside. Rolling hills and trees in the distance give a tranquil feel to this property, where you can admire the vista and amazing sunsets on the sun terrace.

Welcome home
On entering the property, the central hallway and two of the main reception rooms have beautiful original polished wood block parquet flooring, stained in a warm hue. This classic flooring is ideal and practical on its own or looks fantastic with area rugs to give it ever changing looks with d cor.

The real fire and hearth add to the ambience and warmth so that any dining experience is memorable for years to come. This room easily takes an eight person table as well as occasional furniture with the luxury carpet underfoot adding to the elegant style.

On the other side of the hall is the snug, with a large picture window framing views out to the terrace and steps onto the garden. In the pantry, as in the rest of the kitchen, there is ample matching built in storage, as well as Fisher & Paykel separate smart washer and dryer, ensuring fast efficiency on both multi program machines.

The kitchen is an amazing space with wall mounted tv, next to a large picture windows and French doors. Doors are often wide open in summer, where you can move effortlessly onto the terrace.
